How does God's interaction with king Nebuchadnezzar show that He is intimately involved in the affairs of humanity and politics? Does God humble world leaders today? With 3 attempts, not entirely successful, in reaching Nebuchadnezzar's heart, God again reaches out to the proud king and temporarily dethrones him and sends him to live among beasts of the field. How does God work with stubborn hearts today?

You may be facing tough decision about your life, about your future. You may feel that all sides are closing in on you. Rest assured. All isn’t lost. All hope isn’t gone. Pray and fast and wait on God. The promise wasn’t just for Esther and Mordecai. It’s for us too and to our children, and our children’s children. “Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.” Don’t run before Him or take things into your own hands. Let God handle it for you. You only need to pray and fast and wait.
We can heal our world by beginning with just me. Yes. Begin with yourself. If we strive to be kind to at least two persons and those two extend the kindness to another two, with the trend continuing, then we would reach our entire world. When we all participate, our world would be a kinder and happier place. You would be happier and being kind would be second nature.
There is always a more excellent way. Jesus instructed us to “Lay up treasures in Heaven.” Heavenly treasures do not consist of banking your money in church, expecting to have many dollars to spend when you get to Heaven. Many would like you to think that the more you give, the bigger your mansion will be. But this is not so. We lay up treasurers in Heaven by investing our time, talent, and money in God’s work of transforming characters for eternity.
