We Believe

  1. THE BIBLE We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is profitable for correction, reproof, and instruction in righteousness. (See 2 Timothy 3:16.)

  2. CREATION We believe in the literal interpretation of Genesis 1-2: that God created the world (without flaw or corruption) in 6 literal days and rested on the literal Seventh day (Sabbath) and established the Seventh day as a memorial and celebration of Creation for all mankind in which they should gather and worship Him. God’s definitive standards of order were set forth in Creation including all 10 Commandments before they were codified on Mount Sinai. Hence we believe in caring for and looking after the Creation, the sanctity of life, and that God created man with meaning and purpose, a free moral agent, and in His own image and after His likeness—to live in harmony with and reflect His glory.  Each person was and is created immutably and inflexibly as one of the two distinct complementary genders (“male and female”) and thus, on the sixth day of Creation, God established the definitive standard for marriage as an exclusive union between one man and one woman: therefore, sexual activity was designed by God to occur exclusively (and only) within that context.

  3. The FALL We believe that sin distorted and corrupted God’s perfect world and its original order. The order once established in Creation is under constant attack by the enemy of souls who attempts to discredit and reverse or corrupt everything God created. Although signs of God’s creative work still exist in the natural world today, the world has been marred by sin, evidenced by (but not limited to) corruption, greed, confused identity, natural disasters, pollution, famine, disease, inordinate desires, immorality, and death. Anything that goes against the created order is a byproduct of sin.  The wages of sin is death! Mankind especially has degraded from God’s original intent manifesting a sinful propensity and rebelling against God’s order in Creation. As a result of this degradation, mankind cannot fix himself: humanity desperately needs a Savior.

  4. SALVATION We believe that God provided a savior to redeem humanity and restore mankind what was lost after the Fall. We believe that Jesus is the eternal, self-existent God and is not a created being. Even though He is fully God, He took upon Himself the form of a man to live and die for our sins. We also believe that He rose from the dead three days later and functions as our faithful High Priest in Heaven. While the wages of sin is death, God’s gift offers eternal life freely to all in Christ Jesus alone. Therefore, ONLY by believing on Jesus Christ and accepting the grace of His shed blood, we receive the gift of eternal life.

  5. LOVE We believe that God loves humanity and that humanity must respond to that love. God demonstrated His love in reaching out to humanity, offering to restore what was lost in Creation. True love for God is demonstrated in faith and obedience. Two characteristics of one who loves God are “the faith of Jesus” and “keeping the Commandments of God”. All of God’s commandments are summarized in “loving God” and “loving others” which, if a person does, they could not break ANY of the 10 Commandments (God’s moral law). Obedience to ALL these commandments is not a means of works for salvation, but a means of demonstrating true love for the Creator in response to His love for us. God enables man and works in man, through the Holy Spirit, to manifest this faith and obedience to His will as a person chooses to allow God into his or her life. Apart from the work of the Holy Spirit, it would be impossible to manifest this love toward God. It is developed by a deep, sincere, and personal relationship with God—a relationship which God does not force, Christ has made possible, the Holy Spirit works in us, and man must choose.

  6. COMING AGAIN We believe that Bible prophecy reveals that we are living in the time of judgment and that Jesus Christ will soon literally return to the earth to gather His people and destroy evil. He will ultimately restore what was lost in Creation and will make an end of sin, its byproducts, and death. Prophecy reveals, through the signs of the times, that the end is near and mankind’s probation is almost at a close. All must make a decision as to which side they are on prior to this great event.

  7. GRACE, FAITH, SCRIPTURE, and CHRIST We believe, as the Protestant Reformers did, in Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Sola Scriptura, and Sola Christos.

The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. We base our beliefs on the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church as they adhere to the Bible (though we are not officially sponsored by or directly affiliated with the church). The Bible itself is the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind. It is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of the Inspirited Network’s faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline: Inspirited Network's committee of members, elders, and pastors (in good standing with the Seventh Day Adventist Church and chosen by the Inspirited Network's CEO / Founder) will be the Inspirited Network’s final interpretive authority on the ministry’s interpretation of the Bible’s meaning and application.
