John Spellman preaches on Revelation 2:18-29. Based on the 4th message of Jesus, in the series of 7. This one written to the church of Thyatira which was commended for love and service but rebuked for allowing Jezebel to teach. Is the church of today still allowing Jezebel to teach? Are many of the ministers and church leaders compromising their faith to embrace a more worldly philosophy? Has God's message for this time been watered down and replaced with something counterfeit? Jesus introduces Himself to the church in a personal way. Find out how this message may be relevant for us today.

This lesson explores the antitype of the Day of Atonement. What does it mean for new covenant Christians today? Why does the sanctuary need cleansing? How does the religious / political little horn power of Daniel 8 exalt itself against the "Prince of the Host" and cast down the daily? Is Satan still raging war against God's people today? Are signs and miracles proof of God's hand at work in something?
The Bible teaches about a day lost in history. A day God designed for us to remember. This week's lesson uncovers the mystery of this forgotten and lost day.
For most of us Christians, this truth we believed; but sometimes it is not reflected in our attitude when we are called upon to serve. It is sad to say even in our worship life, the gladness that should characterize our praise seems damp, cold and lifeless. Our singing, our sharing and receiving of His word, our tolerance of others seems to be a mirrored reflection of our lives outside of Church time. Even in our secular activities, at times, we seemed not to be serving the Lord, and others, with gladness. Whatever we do or wherever we are, we are to do all things to honor God, serving with gladness.
There is an abiding peace when you obey out of love. Love God supremely and allow Him to love others through. Love others not because they are good but because they are God's child.
God’s people are being bombarded with one crucible after another. The enemy of souls is on a rampage of destruction. The fight is on! But we are assured that the hotter the battle, the sweet the victory. Our God Who caused fire to burn on water; Who lights fire without matches; and Who caused water soaked timber and stones to blaze in a pool of water will deliver His own! Our crucibles are only fuel for the fire! You can rest assured that though iniquity increases more and more, God’s grace and protection is here in even greater amounts. We will not fear because the Lord, He is God. He is God of the impossible.
