This week Pastor Michael Mirra focuses on attacks against the Word of God and the inclination of man to resist and not hear or listen to the Word of God. There were times in history when the Bible was not always available to the common person. But was the Bible meant to be read and available to everyone? Were the dark ages because of the Bible, or did the Bible bring us out of the dark ages? Why are there so many who twist the word of God? How do we know that Moses really wrote the first five books? What was so special about Moses? Could the Bible have been written by interest groups of the time?

Lift Each Other Up

John Spellman preaches at the Beit Shalom SDA congregation. Sermon is based on Exodus 17: Moses prays for the children of Israel despite their constant murmuring and complaining. God blesses Israel only as Moses continues to pray for them. But what happens when the prophet grows tired? What happens when he loses strength? Today, God has many leaders who need support. Sabbath and the Languages

An interesting translation of Saturday in other languages… What’s really interesting is that “Saturday” by that name, came about from Pagan Rome. It means Saturn’s Day. It replaced the word original name (Sabbath) of the Seventh day but yet we can still see where that name remains.
