John Spellman speaks on the 1st Angels message. What does this message have to do with our time today? Should it still be preached in churches? Why is the Sabbath the center of controversy in today's world? Why is Creation so important to our faith? If the hour of judgment is come, what does that mean for believers today? This presentation focuses on the ever-lasting gospel that must be preached to all before the end can come.

John Spellman preaches on the 7th church of Revelation. What is Jesus' message to the church of our time? How does Jesus introduce Himself to the church of our time in a unique manner that addresses the unique problems and challenges of today? Jesus: the amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God calls the church to recognize its true condition. As a forest of trees would be unstable and unsafe if each of those trees was not rooted in the soil, so today God's people must be rooted in Jesus and anchored in truth.

John Spellman preaches at the Babylon SDA Church. The writers of the Bible testify that its origins begin with the Holy Spirit who spoke and move upon men. The Testimony of Jesus warns us of things to come. The mind of Christ is certainly needed today. Are you prepared to stand for your faith against opposition and impossible odds? What if standing for the truth meant being unpopular? What if it meant being ridiculed?

Benhadad, the king of Syria, oppressed Israel during the reign of Ahab. Because of Israel's rebellion this was, for a time, permitted by God. Soon Benhadad begins to make insulting demands of Ahab and when Ahab refuses they go to war. But God was with the Israelites and delivered Benhadad into their hand. The Syrians attack again reasoning that the only reason they lost was because God was a god of the hills. God answers this challenge also but when Benhadad is spared by king Ahab, a prophet makes a strange request. A request that if refused, could cost someone their life.

John Spellman preaches at the Beit Shalom SDA congregation. Sermon is based on Exodus 17: Moses prays for the children of Israel despite their constant murmuring and complaining. God blesses Israel only as Moses continues to pray for them. But what happens when the prophet grows tired? What happens when he loses strength? Today, God has many leaders who need support. How do we support those that need our help? What about families that need to support one another? What happens when they don't? Is there still a need today to lift people up?

Who is God to you? What can God do in your life? Based on Exodus chapter 3, John Spellman speaks on who God is and what God does. How does God introduce Himself to humanity? How can we begin a personal relationship with God? What does God do when we come to know Him? How can we see the providential hand of God at work? What evidence of God's interaction with humanity can we see today? These questions are explored in the story of Moses' first encounter with God. Learn how God can make all the difference in your life today.
Have you ever watched American Ninja Warrior? Athletes compete to overcome many obstacles and make great sacrifices including money, time, careers, relationship stability, among a host of other things. They are dedicated and resolute in their desire to win. They show themselves willing to do whatever it takes. What can Christians learn from their example about being dedicated to God? Are there many in the church who need a conversion experience? Should God be part of our lives or the center and focus of our lives? What if God had believers like the American Ninja Warriors in these last days?
Based on 2 Kings 6, John Spellman preaches on Elisha and his mentoring of the sons of the prophets. When an expensive piece of equipment is lost to the bottom of the Jordan river, all seems hopeless. What message could this hold for our church today? What encouragement could those facing life's circumstances gain? Why did God allow such an expensive loss in the first place? What can we learn about God through the miracle performed? This message focuses on how the gospel is not about us, but about God. It is a message about the need for less self and more Holy Spirit direction.
Based on Numbers 21:4-9, many folks are dying in the wilderness. Why does God take us through difficult experiences? Do these experiences mean God has forgotten about us or abandoned us? As we study the path the Israelites took toward the Promised Land, we can have clarity on why sometimes God takes us down difficult paths.
John Spellman preaches a message on Unity In Division. Does God really want unity at all costs within the Church? Is it truly possible to be united? Do the terms of unity matter? What does God's word say will unify His people? What does this mean for Christians today? Can there ever be harmony between the world and the follower of Christ? The answers to these questions may have surprising implications for how we relate to others and how or where we spend our time as believers n Jesus.
John Spellman preaches at the Babylon SDA Church discussing faith. Jesus taught that if we would only believe, we would see the glory of God! What does active faith look like in today's world? How can we hold on to God's promises? What about when God doesn't answer our prayers right away? This sermon explores the story of Jacob and his wrestling match with God. Today, it's still possible to wrestle with God. However, in wrestling with omnipotence, how does one prevail? Here's the secret! (Please excuse the background noise, due to emergency situation at the Church.)
John Spellman preaches at the Babylon SDA Church in New York on the three potential disciples of Jesus in Luke 9:57-62. Jesus taught that the road to preaching the Kingdom of God is not an easy road. But, what might His responses to the three men be saying to people of the world today? How might these messages apply to our generation? Is it possible to be dead, while you're living and walking around? Does God have an answer for spiritual death?
