What can we learn from Revelation 4-5. Who are the 24 elders? Who are the 4 beasts? Why is Jesus represented as a lamb with 7 horns and 7 eyes? What is in the scroll sealed with 7 seals? As we study this scene in heaven we’ll gain insight into a worship experience in heaven as Jesus is deemed worthy to open the book as the redeemer of humanity and God is worshipped as the Creator.
How did Jesus minister to people's needs? How did He know their needs? How did Jesus show respect to people he wanted to help? How can we show genuine care and concern for those we seek to help today? Is it appropriate to ask how we can help? Does God ever force His help on us? What do you do when plans to help or to minister get interrupted by the unexpected? Why is it so important for Christians to love one another? How did Dorcas exemplify this and what impact did her love for people have on her ministry? What are the different ways we can approach ministry?

The Bible teaches about a day lost in history. A day God designed for us to remember. This week's lesson uncovers the mystery of this forgotten and lost day.
Jesus’ response to the hurt, anger, resentment, and revenge in their faces and hearts toward their oppressors wasn’t a popular or welcomed one. It made Jesus sad to tell them something different than what they wanted to hear. What they heard was: “Do not resist. Go the extra mile. Go over and beyond the call of duty. Be agreeable. Respect authority.” Jesus only reiterated what they already knew, but the anger in their hearts tricked them into believing that they wanted otherwise.
He lost his kingdom, not because the Philistines were victorious over them, but because of his disobedience – his failure to wait! Saul believed that because as King, he could do anything and it would be okay. But offering sacrifice wasn’t listed on his job description. In his impatience he blundered and at first strike, he was out! Actions that followed were just residual effect of a failed leadership. He lost his esteemed post! But King Saul wasn’t the only one who failed to wait and the resulting negative effect on him and his people.
Like the Jewish nation of old, God has sent many evidences for you to believe in Him. If you reject the Bible, there is nature which speaks so loudly of the One, bigger than you and me, who holds this world in space. No scientist can explain God’s complex creation and maintenance system. The Darwin theory is just that – a theory... that has been pulled apart and found wanting. But God’s creation still stands a mystery to the most brilliant minds.
