Does every person need to hear the gospel? Can a person be saved without it? What about people in remote parts of the world that have never heard of Jesus by name? Are they all condemned? Can God reach those who have never heard the gospel? If so, is preaching the gospel really necessary? What advantages does the hearing the gospel have? Can a person reject the gospel and still be saved? Does the whole world really need to hear it? This week we explore the relationship between the gospel and salvation. Can salvation come through other means? Must a person be a Christian or can they be on other paths? How does the Bible respond to pluralism or universalism?

So, let’s do an unusual treasure hunt for a change. We will be hunting for souls. The experience is beyond comparison and will ‘blow your mind’. It promises satisfaction you’ve never known. The entire family can participate. How many stars will you place in your crown today? Your own soul should be your first star! Do what you can, and better your best effort. Let’s reach these true treasures for Christ.
Transformed Attitudes
Have you been ostracized, been treated unfairly, ridiculed, or suffered discrimination because of your belief in God and the teachings of the Bible? Don’t fight back. See the devil as the instigator at work through them. Find other ways to defend yourself, if you need to, but do pray for them. Genuinely ask God to change and save your persecutor(s). Whatever you do, whatever circumstances you’re faced with, let self be quiet and let God work through you to bless others.
You Are My Brother
Our sinful desires to tear down and put down each other, speak evil of one another, gossip and engage in tale-bearing: are all symptoms which show that we do not regard each other as brothers. No one would willfully and intentionally kill their father’s child. So, why do it to God’s child? Gossiping and tale-bearing destroys unity and genuineness of friendships. Resentment and hatred should not be harbored in hearts that are preparing for Heaven. We are brothers and sisters.
