What does the Bible teach us about God and missionaries? What is a missionary and what is their mission? In what ways is God Himself a missionary? What took place in the Garden of Eden that caused humanity to be lost? How did Jesus Christ address that problem? What were the consequences of Sin? Why did Adam and Eve fall? What implications does this have for missionaries today? Why did God choose to operate through missionaries instead of heavenly beings or doing the work Himself? This week we tackle many of these subjects as we explore God as a missionary.
This week we focus on wisdom and its link to Creation. How is wisdom linked to creation? In what ways does wisdom's personification in Proverbs 8 connect with the characteristics of the Godhead? Also, in this chapter, Solomon again compares wisdom and foolishness highlighting their different approach at drawing people to their side. What makes wisdom the better option? What value should we place on wisdom? How do fools respond to wisdom?
How does the cross show God's love for humanity? Does the Father truly love us, or does only Jesus love us? Why did Jesus come to save humanity? What do we receive as a result of His sacrifice on the cross? What does it mean for our every day living? How did Jesus teach that we should approach salvation? Can even the worst of sinners be saved? This week we tackle the topic of salvation exploring the themes of these questions.
