Always By Your Side
Her questions made me realize how much of a divine appointment this had been. Here was a woman who was searching for God. Here was a woman who was thirsting after the life that He offered, but who did not know how to find it. And God sent me, who had just an hour earlier been so unwilling to work, to find her and help guide her along the way.
Does He Really Care
As my thoughts continued (though I was trying to encourage myself that I was doing the right thing) I heard a motor running behind me and made my way to the right side of the sidewalk to let a golfcart pass by. I was deep in thought, thinking about how I was going to pay for the binders I needed, to keep telling people about Jesus, and even if I could afford the binders I had no idea what I would do to get enough inserts (page protectors) and pay for photo copies of the pages at the same time. Even if I had to live on Peanut butter and jelly for the next two or three weeks in order to afford what I needed, I was determined to do it and to be faithful.
When It's Getting Dark
On our path with God, whether we want it or not, not one of us can escape studying this science because in it is where the very essence of Christianity exists. Living in a human body, Jesus also sat for this exam. The powers of His soul were strained to the greatest extent and the scarlet drops of His blood were showing to the sleeping garden of Gethsemane and to the ages to come. What does it mean to LOVE? Other people sat for this exam as well. Do you remember the family from Bethany—the close friends of Jesus? All of us know this gospel story with the happy-ending very well; but, have you ever, even once in your life, put yourself in the place of Mary and Martha in the beginning of the narration?
Confession of Kitchen Clock
This is a cry from the heart, as you call it. It's the loudest tick-tock in my life... I pity my Vova and Lena; what about their Egor? He loves his parents so much: I can hardly express it in words. But, unfortunately, he doesn't know how they can love each other. For they did love! Who knows it better than I?
The storms in my life may not be over physically, but spiritually they are over. With the peaceful assurance that God is by my side, that He is holding my hand, I am comforted that He will see me through my storms. Just like the disciples at sea on a stormy night, the assurance that there’s nothing to fear with God by their side is even mine this morning. I do not need to be afraid of the challenges the day holds. God is with me and He has taken my hand. I will be okay irrespective of whatever may comes my way.

It is interesting to note that the Statue which symbolizes freedom throughout the world is now believed to be freedom only in America. Why so? Because the American people believe they are truly free and they act like it. Many people from all over the world (who are and/or think they are in bondage in their country) are desirous of entering “the land of the free and the home of the brave”. Many are still fleeing to this great country, even those who have been set free from the bondage of sin but not from its presence.

Yes, life challenges will test our patience. There may be challenges in your home, your marriage, your job, and even your church that seem more than you are willing to cope with. Be reminded that the race is not for the swift, nor the battle for the strong, but for those who endure. Remember, the humble calf sucks the most milk. Patience is a virtue – a rare one. This fruit of the Spirit is a quality we all need.

For what is your soul hungering and thirsting? Today, as we play our part to feed the hungry and thirsting among us, let us take time to gaze upon Christ's purity as we get better acquainted with Him through His words. By beholding we will become dissatisfied with ourselves and become in favor of being like Jesus. By beholding, we will become changed.

God promised to answer when we call. He will be with us in trouble to deliver and honor us. David found God to be His refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. You can too. Just call Him. The recited prayer can’t do when you are in trouble. You need a prayer from your gut as you cry out to God for deliverance.

We all make mistakes in our lives! Mistakes that we wish we could just punch the undo button and erase. It may seem difficult for us, but it is possible with Jesus Christ. Do you want a new start? Jesus can give you a new start. Yes He can. Just ask Him! Ask Him to forgive your mistakes and to give you a new start. It is possible. You can do it.
